The New experience was I never saw a Vortex with glass as good as my Bushnell 6500 4 1/2_30X50. Oh darn. I thought maybe you "discovered" spotting scopes and were going to quit using your over-powered rifle scopes to glass with. Guess my expectations were just too high. Carry on.
I probably hit more elk with a pickup than you have with a rifle. I have yet to see anyone claim Leupold has never had to fix an optic. I know I have sent a few back. 2 MK 6s, a VX-6, and 3 VX-111s.

So far, I've learned the context in which to use the term "Lickspittle". Going out it for a Friday beer and wings with the wife. I will use the term lickspittle to describe a douche at work. Very cathartic. Thanks.
