Police found the trailer!!!
It's been opened obviously but the police say it's full of stuff and it looks like they were looking for specific things.
My guess tools and firearms.

Personal papers, awards, family photos, etc. can be more valuable than the material goods in the long run.
I hope those things at least, weren't taken, or are recovered quickly.

Scott just texted me the following. Please forgive the grammar.
Got the trailer... The took my tools, Angelas wedding dress and all our pics, all our outdoor gear, and of course my firearms except for some shotgun I rolled in a blanket.
I called PD back because i found tools and a hardhat as well as sunglasses and a utility knife that were not mind. Fingerprints. PD found the trailer deserted along a desert road with everything strune around it. I followed up with him to ask if the police are even going to bother with prints because I know that in many instances involving theft they don't even bother. Scott said they dusted and bagged the extra gear left at the scene. Hope they nail these guys.

Did they go on to San Diego? If I had a working address, I would send them a little bit to help with new tools and such. Things to work with might help them back on their feet more quickly. miles

He is on his way to San Diego now. He should be there in just a few hours.
I have already told him what you guys are all doing for him on here.
He hasn't been on here for a very long time, but when he makes it to San Diego he plans to come on here and thank you guys for the help you have been and answer any further questions anyone might have.

I'm laughing only to keep from crying. You won't believe this... His transmission in his truck died 30 miles from the exit for their destination. Now no truck  Guy can't catch a break. His wife family came and picked them up. So, they're safe at least... Man....what a journey...

I see cars left by the road around here and invariably the first night some asswipe breaks the windows out. Landscaper had a flat tire on a trailer the other day with no spare. Went to town to get repair, came back, no zero turn mower. I'm sick of people getting away with this sheit. It wouldn't be hard to eliminate this type of thievery with bait placed strategically to make disposal of the bodies minimal risk.
