Think there'd be much difference between a 130 Accubond and a 125 Partition out of a .260?

No. Actually currently using the 130gr NAB in my 260. Both perform well.

I get better groups from the 130 grain ABs than I do from the 125 grain Partitions and the less expensive 129 grain Hornadys shoot to the same POA, allowing for a less expensive practice option.
I may be the exception, but the 100 and 140 grain Partitions have always shot better groups for me than the 125 grain Partition. I am a big Partition fan, but the 125 grain 0.264" has always disappointed me, no matter how much I wanted it to work, it was never quite as accurate as the 120 grain BT, the 123 and 129 grain Hornadys, and the 130 grain AB.

I have been a big fan of the 100 gr NBT in one of my 260's but was thinking of trying some A-max 120 or 123's in my other 260 to get a little better BC. Does anyone know how they preform on deer out of a 260?
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

I have shot deer with the 140 grain AMax and was not impressed by the expansion, or rather the lack there of, so I no longer shoot AMax at live targets. Shot into bone, they come apart. Shot through the lungs, they didn't expand much. I seldom shoot deer at ranges over 200 yards, so the 100 thru 130 grain Hornady SST and Nosler AB/BT/Partitions serve my purposes. I think that the 130 grain AB might be the best all-purpose medium to medium-heavy game bullet available in 6.5mm if for a bullet that has the best balanced potential for penetration, weight retention, and flat trajectory.

FWIW,
Each group was shot off the bench at Pearland Shooters club, 100 yds. Sako Varmint, 260 Rem, 130 gr. accubond, 43 gr. H414, different OAL's, 3 x 9 variable power scope at 9X. Groups were fired in order from shortest oal to longest oal. Barrel was fouled with three shots after cleaning and before the 5 groups pictured were fired. Rifle was allowed to cool for fifteen minutes or so between each group.
I'm using the 2.900 oal loading. for my go to hunting load.
and a couple obligatory Dead Animal pix.

Sorry for the delay, just saw your post.
Its a Rem 788 in 260. I saw the figure in the wood from 20 yards away at the gunshow a couple years back and had to have it. Custom barrel engraved "LVG Customs" and the chambering. Very accurate with 139 skinners after I put a Timney in it. Being on a 788 action, its the cheapest custom I've ever bought!
