Never used one but for the size, that weight isn't too bad. Esp. if you have a 4 legged varmint to carry it for you!
The lack of insulation is a big negative though. Dang air mattress can get cold.
I can't say enough good about the neo-air. The insulation qualities are top notch IMO, easy to inflate, ultra-lightweight. Only negative is cost and I worry, it seems somewhat thin and fragile. So far I've had no issues but I do take care of it. Now that I've said that it'll spring a leak next time I use it.
That windcatcher seems miles ahead of just a discount store air mattress without a doubt.
