Anyone used one of these? They're supposed to be extra easy to inflate & deflate. It's slightly heavier than a NeoAir at 1 lb 14oz. At 4" thick, though, it should be a good cushion. It's not insulated, though, so in colder weather, an additional neoprene pad would be advisable.

Never used one but for the size, that weight isn't too bad. Esp. if you have a 4 legged varmint to carry it for you! grin

The lack of insulation is a big negative though. Dang air mattress can get cold.
I can't say enough good about the neo-air. The insulation qualities are top notch IMO, easy to inflate, ultra-lightweight. Only negative is cost and I worry, it seems somewhat thin and fragile. So far I've had no issues but I do take care of it. Now that I've said that it'll spring a leak next time I use it.

That windcatcher seems miles ahead of just a discount store air mattress without a doubt.

I've read the reviews on several sites. Only 1 said it wouldn't hold air. All the rest of the complaints were about how it's harder to inflate than the video shows (no surprise there). There aren't a lot of reviews but most are favorable.

I think its pretty soft when inflated. There's no way to add air to stiffen it up. I need a firm bed for my back and I suspect this would be too soft.
