Hate to hear that, The fact that he gave Petey a second chance shows he loved that dog. I'm sorry anybody got bit, but I'm SO glad it was Roger instead of that Grandboy, that would have been a tragedy.

When Petey is done with TRH we can send him to Larry. I wouldn't do that to a dog. Send him along, he'd not last a day up in Yellowstone.

Roger has always been one of the good ones and I hope he heals fast. Shame his heartstrings cost him injuries again.
I'm as big a dog lover as there is but there is no second chances for dogs that bite unprovoked.

It do suck, but that dog would have been taking a dirt nap the first time this happened. This. In spades. There's too many good dogs in the world to let a dog live that attacks his alpha male owner. It was a hard decision for Roger the first time, I'm sorry that it turns out he should have put him down then.

Sad to have a dog that has been proven to be dangerous.
Seems to be a big thing with blacks and other people compensating for issues.
