They claim to sell a lot of barrel for a (relatively) little $$.

Anybody using them?

If so, what is your experience with them?

I find myself with four Marlin XS7s that I don't need, but might be more interesting it chambered for something other than 243 or 7mm-08.

I have a Savage in 260 that the barrel was advertised as being from EA Brown. It's plenty accurate for my needs and cleans well. I wouldn't be scared to try another.

take a look at the CBI barrels from Jim Briggs in MN...

be aware he will try to sell you a machined barrel nut...

along with the machined recoil lug

CBI barrels are a step above the EA Brown barrels......

Are you looking for anything in particular? I've had good luck with savage barrels I buy off of various web classifieds. I recently purchased a 6.5 cm barrel that works extremely well (sub 1/2" for three shots) on my Marlin with hornady factory 140 Amax. The finish does not match, but the shoot well.

I'd be interested in Savage specs barrels in 250 Savage, 257 Roberts, 260, 6.5 Creedmoor, and 338 Federal.
