Working on my second new build and am trying to narrow down trigger choice. It's an Aero Precision upper and lower with a 20" stainless bull barrel. I'm going with the Spikes Tactical Enhanced lower kit but trying to decide whether to go with the complete kit with the nickle boron trigger or the enhanced kit minus fcg and go with a drop in Rise Armament. Gun will be primarily used for coyotes and target chooting out to 300 yards.

If you can afford a Geissele, thats the way to go. If not, RRA makes a decent match trigger or around $100 or less.

War eagle said about all I have to offer. COvers best and most expensive and best cheap... IMHO.

The Ruger 452 was a major improvement over my standard RRA and was about $105 from cheaperthandirt.com.

No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.

A good .30-06 is a 99% solution.

The RRA NM Varmint trigger was 62 and is really a great trigger. Some need a tiny bit of tuning, but for non match shooting , every one I"d dropped into a gun, no one has complained other than a bit to light for their tastes...

As above, either cheap enough RRA or if you want better move all the way to Geiselle. There is nothing between them IMHO basically. Nothing worth wasting time and money on anyway.

The Rock River match Varmint trigger was suggested to me by many folks on here for a "hunting" AR build I just completed. I couldn't be happier with it. Best value for the money spent I think.

I have a rise in my aero lower ( blem). Wouldn't fit. Had to spend time with Emory cloth on the lower but it fits now. Trigger isn't bad. I like my eftmann better.

How long ago was that RRA sale? I'm not finding it now on a google search. Anybody got an extra that they didn't like that they want to part with!?

my invoice is laying here... 6-26-2015

I've found you just have to sit around and watch and read... every now and then things happen. I had no need for 2 triggers, but at 62 each, how could I not buy them?

About like Zeiss Terra scopes, at 199, how could you not buy 2 or more?
