107 here today, as well. A/C is working OK, so it was a good day to hang out in the loading room. I did manage to get in a couple of hours of shooting early, but it was 91 by the time I got back to the house a little before 10:00.

Oh, well, it's summer!

Damn gas cans sure go through a lot of contortions, don't they ?

Started this AM here at about 25 degrees in Oregon's high desert (5000 ft). We were out on a photo run and had frost on both the outside and inside of our cab high shell. Made it to 75 by late afternoon. I complain when it touches 80. To use that classic line; I feel your pain.

Did get some good pics though.

117 today and still 100 at 10:00.

I finally had a day I didn't have to walk out of the house in the last few months. Been working 6/7 days a week and family stuff.

It's going to be some hot F'ers the next few weeks though.

i think it was 118 for a while yesterday, today more of the same.
friend posted last night where she was at in mesa 108 at 10pm last night.
I had thoughts about heading for prescott, cept its hot up there too. difference being at night it runs down pretty quick.
God help us if there was a power outage this time of year.
it would get ugly real quick.
was talking to my daughter, little house she is in has two a/c units not keeping up with it, so she is in big house with everything blowing, hotter than hades.

We'll be seeing stories shortly of those poor, poor wetbacks that died in the heat soon...

And how heartless we are as a nation to allow that.

We ought to be waiting at the border with air conditioned limousines to take them to their new house...

Pleasant 92 here at the moment
Around 65* here at first light, and a 180* wind switcheroo from last night,...cumulus and a palpable dew point / softness on a Prevailing S.X S. Westerly steady breeze.
Tractor and grub axe weather,....and another scrub Thorn Mesquite gone, and a lot of other small chores tackled in pleasant cool.

It WAS a bit weird, the last two day's higher temps on a N. wind, this feels more like just another day, ....though they're SAYING we'll see 110* I really have my doubts about that ( maybe right around Sun down ?)

The dogs are glaring at me, working on their reproachful looks ....it was intra-nasal

Timely tip, if you are using a real computer and not some toy substitute...

Hold down <Alt> and type 248 on your numeric keypad to get a °

First day of summer will ring true in northern Utah. It has already topped triple digits down south, and we'll hit 100° later this week. More than 100° and lower than zero is fairly rare here in Ogden. It was 65° and 55% humidity at dawn today. It's 76° and 44% now. The mid-afternoon humidity dropped to 9% the other day.

We super insulated the house last year. 22" of blown-in insulation in the attic, plus a Mylar infrared barrier. Foamed the entire exterior behind the brick, and also installed a solar attic vent fan. The attic now does not get above ambient, and our A/C unit doesn't kick on until mid to late afternoon.

You are most welcome. I don't remember how I found this site since I don't do genealogy (I had probably googled ASCII codes) but here's a very handy list of other keyboard characters. LINK

94 here in Durango. Lots of hay getting cut and baled. Time to get it in the barn before the monsoons start.
