Well, since you don't hunt, I guess you're about to learn the trials and tribulations of getting a M94 to shoot one inch groups. It is possible. If your M94 is already D&T'ed for a receiver sight that will help. If not I hope you didn't spend so much for it that you'll not want to D&T it. Unless it's a pretty late one you can't mount a scope over the bore and you've got to use a side mount thus the D&T thing again. Nice M94. With the current irons if you've got really good eyesight you just might get an inch out of it. I wish you well on your journey. grin

Or treat yourself to the trials and tribulations of putting two quick shots on a pie plate 100 yards away standing on your hind legs.

It does have the two factory holes in the left rear of the receiver for a Lyman 66A.

After 1953 they were D&T'd at the factory

Then put the Lyman on it and don't look back. Once it's got a decent sight on it if you play with it enough you'll be surprised at how far away you can hit an eight inch paper plate. Way more than 100 yards. Way more than 200 yards. But then, you don't hunt so you don't much care about hitting the roughly eight inch vitals of a deer. If you play with the rifle its self you'll most likely have it shooting one inch groups at 100 before you're done. Most won't believe it but if you work at it you'll find it's true.
