Satellite, DISH net or the like.

Place I had before this one, before satellite became available, we had one TV station and two sometimes, no cable, and they would only deliver the paper thru the mail. Had to drive to town to get Sundays paper.
I got used to it, and except for having to go to a bar or someplace to see major sports events, it was much better once you got used to it.
If it was big enough like 9/11, that one station covered it.
Wish I still lived like that.
, the world just kept on, and I never missed, what I missed.

People forget there is often a cost to Freedom and the right to self determination, but at least this time around the cost will not be in blood! Democracy in action at it best... I have to say I have never been more proud to be British...

EU was a bad idea to begin with, but they had to try it. Glad GB had enough sense to get out.

Wish the majority of the populace in US had good sense. The POS in the WH is proof they dont.

I wouldn't bet on that...........wait 'til you folks start throwing the hajji's out.

Hope you're successful & the result will be worth whatever it costs.

Eventually the EU is going to implode or change significantly if it's able to marginally hold together.

Good news all around.

Especially for Trump and the people with enough sense to support him.

My bet is we will see the 52% to 48% in November right here in America. I'm hoping it's Trump with the 52% and not Hillary.

Germany needs to demand the same referendum be called. Time to take back the country.

Great news! I didn't think it was going to happen with the global movement being so strong. This is another stinger for Obama and probably hurts Clinton too and the timing was almost perfect for us.

Let's hope we can even imagine an 80% turnout with a parallel outcome in November.

I wonder if Trump's bringing the insanity of mass illegal immigration and unvetted Syrians up here the last year and to world wide consciousness helped to solidify and motivate the Brits who voted against the EU.

Visiting here these past two weeks I have been struck by the parallels to our own politics.

First off you have an almost equally divided populace, in the rural areas I saw 10 "leave" banners for every "remain" sign. I am told that support for "remain" was biggest among the young and in the big population centers, exactly paralleling our Red and Blue States.

Likewise anyone raising a concern about immigration and the prospect of half a million immigrant Turks over the next decade were labelled as "racist" by the "remain" crowd.

This was a very close vote that could have gone either way, I expect that much of the youth, predominantly "remain", failed to show up at the polls just as they do here. Also the "leave" crowd were all angry, and driven. A general sense that the "remains" were winning in the week prior to the vote prob'ly help the "leaves" clinch the win; they were angry and the "remains" got complacent.

Totally unlike here is the prospect of a surprisingly Socialist Scotland wanting to remain a member of the EU and already talking about independence.

Northern Ireland wanted to stay in too or so I'm told, not much chance of an independence movement from them tho.

It seems to me that the youth is as split as any faction you care to mention.

The youth is primarily responsible for the Nationalist movement that has swept through western culture over the past couple of years and especially the past year alone. Of course, you have the youth in America who have been drawn to the Bernie Sanders campaign, but there's a fairly heavy element of "anti establishment" contained even in that bunch. I suspect that a significant percentage of them will soon learn the proper manner to work towards self representation and turn their backs on that silly Socialist crap.

I enjoy watching this video from a couple of years ago.
