Thanks! I needed some direction. I talked to St. Croix today and wasn't sure what direction to go. I'll check them out.

You don't need to replace the rod. St Croix will replace it. You just pay shipping back to them and I think maybe $20. ?

They want $55 plus $15.95 shipping to replace it with their cheapest rod.
The girl I talked to on the phone wasn't too inspiring. I'll send it in and see what happens.

I ended up paying to upgrade to a Mojo. Then a few months later I found a minty rod like the one I broke.
