That guy thinks he's safe behind that glass... whistle

Got buddies there.

Wanna know what they do with a spotlight and .223 after dark, there? In fact, LightForce spotlights and driving lights originated there...

Actually, people have been beaten up by roos, some badly enough that they needed ambulance, hospital and even ICU. As well as using their forefeet and teeth, they can use their tail as a sort of extra leg, rearing up on it to kick out with both hind feet. They've got pretty long claws on the hindfeet too. A big buck red can be taller than a man, and about as heavy as an average man too. .

Mind you, there's millions brained under the electric daylight for the odd one who gets his own back on us.

I understand they can disembowel a man with a kick like that.

True?

testosterone, probably smile

'fraid that one would get an attitude adjustment if he was banging on my window. Only a matter of time before he comes through it.

Do they get rabies?

Since the buck keeps staring at one area I would be betting he can see his reflection in the dark glass and thinks he has a rival.

As for killing them, shoot it in the head, if you miss-hit it then simply smack it downwards between the eye and the ear on a 45-ish degree angle with a piece of two foot long round steel between 1/2" and 3/4" thick...be aware that if the roo is bent over when you do this it is very likely to flip backwards and land in your lap if you are silly enough to be behind it...if you need to stop it ambling away then just grab it's tail and kick it's legs out from under, do NOT do this if it has it's wits intact or it will show you the error of your ways in an exciting and memorable manner.

Do NOT use your trusty Maglite as it f cks the globes and costs money.
As for the kicking, yes they do balance on their tail and kick...most of the bucks end up with a lot of scarring at the bottom of their bellies, and enough are missing their nuts to lend me to believe that is what they are trying to do to each other.

The big bucks are only good for dog meat...for HC you want a small red buck between 10 and 12 kilo or a blue doe up to 14 kilo...just roast it like you roast a lamb roast, it makes marvellous cold meat.

Eastern grey does are ok up to 14 kilo but are not as good as reds...western greys all stink.

Big bucks of any type stink and taste foul enough to be used only as dog meat.

Despite what the dills in restaurants keep telling everyone...pink is not cooked.

Word of warning when smacking with piece of steel...hold the steel lightly and keep the elbow loose, as you drop your arm close your hand (like you are using a kukuri), this will make the piece of steel accelerate far beyond what you can achieve via arm speed alone.

And if you lock your elbow be aware it hurts like all f ck when you make contact.

These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.
