My son bought a Hi-Point 9mm carbine, I believe it's a model 995. He's thinking of putting some type of reflex sight on it. I've never had a reflex sight so don't know anything about them. Anyone know which sights will work on these rifles? I'm not sure what type of rail it has. Any suggestions? Thanks

something with 'point' in the name to match the hi-point. does center point make one?

I'd go Barska, or NC Star or Sun Optic......or you could upgrade to a BSA.

Does that shoot better than a Mini 14?

I don't know how it shoots as I haven't tried it yet. But, he says it's fun to use for plinking.
