Hi all, thanks to everyone's advice I purchased a couple Leupold VX-6 2-12x42s for my Vanguards. I want to mount them as LOW as possible and am struggling with interpreting measurements.

Which do you think would provide a lower mount between Leupold PRW rings in medium (two piece Leupold bases) and Talley lightweights in low?

I know the Talley lightweights run on the tall side and Leupold says I will require mediums in the PRWs due to the VX-6s larger power ring so I am not sure which would be lower.

If anyone knows I sure would appreciate the info!

Rifles are Weatherby Vanguards. After doing a bunch of searching it sounds like the Talleys would be a touch lower. I have had great luck with them in the past so I just went with them. Thanks

When I had a similar problem I contacted the brand I was looking at. I gave them the scope info and maybe the rifle, I can't remember anymore, and they said what would best fit. So far so good.
