Anyone run Kahles scopes on their hunting rifles? They sound like they are very good optics.

I don't runs Kahles on all of them... just my six favorite.

I got a Kahles 2-7X36 recently to get it's 'name' and something 'euro' to put on a full stock Brno 22F. It's eyepiece is marked "made in Austria"
The crosshairs in it turn pink with light on it's ocular lens.
The crosshairs turn pink worse on the Swarovski Z3 3-9-36 on a favorite custom.

I sold mine only because I needed money for an Alaskan trip. What was so fun about it is it was the first higher end scope I ever looked through. Up until then and even later I used Tasco World Class. With the Tasco I could see detail, but with the Kahles I could see color and detail.

I have a couple of the 2x7's. That particular model is quite svelte and has a really nice view.

EXCELLENT OPTICS!I have maybe 9-10 at present. Lot of value for the cost typically. Very nice eyebox so quick target acquisition. Love them!

Have a Helia C 4x36 and 6x42.
The 4x36 is the BEST scope I have ever looked through!
The Leupolds I have, cant even compare.
The 6x42 is very good as well, and is going on top a custom 6,5x55 I am building.
But, buy every 4x36 you can find..

Have at least 7 of them. It was my first high end piece of glass. Great optics! Not planning on getting rid of them either...

I have four of the MZ Kahles Scopes, 2-7, 3-9 and two 4-12s. Love them all. Each day I look for more of them to buy. The 2-7 is my favorite also. With the MZ scopes all I have to worry about is the wind. The drop I can dial to in a second or two with the MZ. Most of my hunting is done in West Texas. Lots of room and WIND!

They are owned by Swarovski, same glass, a bit less on mechanics. Good scopes, but for the money, I think MEOPTAS are a better value

Khales is the tactical side of Swarovski that is more geared towards L.E. and Military applications.

I've had them, still have one.
Good glass. I understand they were owned by Swaro, heard they split and Swaro quit doing their U.S. CS. I'm not sure what the current status is.
The one I sent to Swaro was serviced just like one of their own products. An 8x56 looked like something was "growing" on the reticle. Swaro fixed it. The current owner says it's starting to do the same thing. I'm not sure what's causing that.

The reticule on my 2-7x36 Kahles does not turn pink like the 3-9 Swarovski does.
Both rifles shoot ok with them.
They are expensive.
The ocular on the Swarovski says "ASSEMBLED IN THE USA"
On the Kahles it says "Made in Austria"

I have five of them. Quality glass and never had a problem. I also have a pair of Kahles binoculars that I had a minor problem with. I sent them back for service and they came back repaired and cleaned. I thought it was excellent customer service. I sent them to the rep in Idaho and he took it from there. Quick turn around for having to go back to Austria.

I have three and use them on my "go to" hunting rifles.
I have never had a need for customer service in the many years that I have owned them. Top shelf glass at a medium price point.

DF Same family that owns Swaro had a family member that owned Kahles. I understand the guy died and Swaro took over the company on a temporary basis. They have moved into a new building and have a new distributor and repair center stateside.
