Got a text from her today, she is fine. Quinn is better but not out of the woods.

Looks like family before fire at the moment. She will be back, so be careful!

A tall, fully packed, glass of ice. Fill 1/3 with gin, add cranberry or ruby red grapefruit juice, and a squeeze of lime.

Summertime chillin at its finest.

Just bought some Ruby Red yesterday so I'm good ta go. Was looking at fresh cranberries in the refrigerator section but didn't buy them. Suspect they would be great after a few pulses in the food processor.

Carry on.

It was a can of Vienna sausages while I wrote up my notes at the end of a range session, and now it's a late snack of a leftover hamburger patty.

Haute cuisine baby!

We can all admit to worse meals than that, that were supposed to be five star! ( at least I can! ).

Tonight was butter/lime sautéed asparagus, parmasan crusted home grown roasted tomatoes, and a rib steak with gin mushrooms.

Didn't suck!

Zucchini pancakes and sliced tomatoes tonight. Killer as usual. I almost opened my 1995 Beringer Private Reserve Cab for this meal but I am thinking it deserves a proper grilled tri-tip.
