Sounds like good news on the camper, Scott. Glad that you got it under control.

I wish I could meet her. I've never met a real, honest-to-goodness saint (other than my Mother, of course). grin

(Almost forgot, I have met another saint. She's married to Mark Shubert... laugh )

For the record, I agree!
She allowed me to wake up this AM with no extra orifices. smile

Hey, Mark, it looks like you might have been getting some rain as well! Hope the radar wasn't lying to us tonight.

Scott - thanks for the good news. Said you were smart and resourceful and was right. If you can make a temp inside/outside sandwich of something durable with caulking between the slices, it should work until you throw that part of the roof away. See you soon.

Looks like some July 4th weekend campers are heading for Armijo Springs. Not to spoil their fun, but would be helpful if it rains all over them - fairly hard - at least from now until July 3rd. 'Twould be nice insurance for our shindig.

Kent (KRP), Since you seem to be in charge of the edibles...

What can I bring to add to the pot-- Bacon, eggs, bread, chips, cokes??? Let me know something.

Oldman03 makes a reminder - soon we will need some organized posts ID'ing who and how many are going to be present, food related stuff folks can bring, and camp-related stuff we may need. Maybe that can be done right after our Independence Day.

I'll go ahead and suggest any drinks that come in a jar grin
I seem to recall sipping something real good that came from a pickle jar.

I am happy to bring whatever I can to help.

For those attending - I am interested buying or trading into a quality blued walnut 22LR sporter - Cooper, Anschutz, Kimber or such - that has potential for Sporter class ARA or IR5050 matches. Am also interested in a 223 sporter and a high-condition 4" S&W Model 19-3 or -4. Have a few good pieces to trade, also 2 1200-round boxes of Hornady 75gr Amax. Would appreciate a PM.

Kent,

I can bring the goods that I already PM'd you about. In addition, I have commercial raw scrambled eggs in a bag. If you're doing anything that requires them, let me know.

They're great anything from scrambled eggs, to French toast, to breakfast casserole.

Also, as Paul has mentioned, maybe we need to get a list started so that we're not tripled up on some items, and short on others.

Let us know just as soon as you can. Also, if you need, I can carry a few extra things over for you. I'll be headed that way on Wednesday before the gathering.

Peggy is going to attend again this year also.

Friday night will be pulled pork and fish, fried potatoes and coleslaw, chili by Joe, myself and whoever wants to make some.

We could use buns.

Breakfasts we could use meat and eggs, a couple loves of bread for french toast. if you are bringing some post here so we will know how many.

Generally we can use flour tortillas, 4 dozen.

Last year we used 14 dozen eggs and 15 lbs of meat, bacon, sausage and ham.

Some hotdogs and buns.

I'll be going up wed or thur and I doubt I'll check here again until then. Mostly I'll supply most of the food for dinners and anything we are short on.

Thanks guys,

Kent

I haven't heard it mentioned but Dennis usually fixes hotcakes/pancakes one morning. I am bringing some of Dannys Maple syrup. I think Joe has some too, but don't know if He plans to share. grin miles

OKAY - WE NEED PLANNING INFO for more than one aspect, so let's get the headcount and likely arrival time started.

Like this:

CCCC in camp starting Wednesday afternoon - wife Friday and Saturday evenings.

Please chime in.
