I have just been advised that to ship small arms ammo now you must have an account set up with FEDX and have the ammo labeled and have it pick ed up. You can no longer take it to a Fed EX location for shipment. Can anyone expand on the detail?

You must have fedex ground come and pick it up. OR take it to a UPS hub or terminal.

Screw FED EX...I avoid them like the plague.
Their facility in Spokane Washington is something out of Orwell's 1984.
They can GFT.

FedEx hub won't accept ammo here. They must pick up at your house. I know people at FedEx and they can't let it slide. Silly stuff.

The person who told me that was in their corporate office. We,ll see I have a Fedex account and some ORM-D stickers. I will visit their St Louis Hub tomorrow and see if the old way still works.

I just write ORM-D on the bottom of the box in small print with pen. Print a UPS label at home, drop it off, and be on the way.

ORM-D is also used for spray paint, etc, etc, etc, not just ammo....

Anyone that tells a shipper what's in the package is an idiot, it's none of their business.....box, print label, hand to a FedEx carrier or UPS guy easy, simple, discreet
