I stopped at the Garner, NC Cabelas yesterday on the way to the ocean. They have an in-store sale on Cabelas Meindl 400 gram for $224 new until July 6. I'm sure if you called them, they would honor the price.

All told, I'm done with boots for the next couple years. I was surprised how comfortable the Western Guide is - and light. They are a bit stiff but will come in handy on sidehill elk slopes.
I'm pretty pleased.
