Same schitt in a different box.... for $700. "Field and Stream reviews".... same line of "as good as Swaros", "guide wanted to keep them", etc.... Paltry erector travel, no "real world testing" suffice a couple "2" box tests".

There are plenty of places where you can sling schitt like that all over the interweb.... this ain't one. WAY too many folks here who actually use and abuse optics in way too many ways. Way too much real world experience from too many experienced guys. Say what you want about their tact or their prose.... but they're pretty much correct. For a guy like you whose primary use of a riflescope is as a range toy or as a spotting scope... they may look great. So, cough-up the 700 greenbacks and write us a "review"... I'll be looking forward to it... kinda like one of your "ladders"..

Meopta, lol!!!

Their ZD tactical/long range scope has a whopping 47 moa of elevation, front parallax adjustment, a mil reticle coupled with moa controls, and it weighs 28 oz. Talk about a cluster-F.

Are you looking in a mirror? I asked a couple questions without stating anything.

You remind me of a guy, because of what he said at the time, I asked him, "Did God make you a prophet?" You have no idea what I thought of the scopes at their new website. For your information I dislike them because they don't have enough magnification to be used as a "range toy or as a spotting scope."

And minimal field trials by those selling them....

Vortex makes some nice "high end" stuff too.... and I've fallen for that banana in the tail-pipe a couple times. Come to find out.... the only thing high end about them is their customer service.... as I've needed it on everything I've ever bought from them. Had a Brunton binoc that was schitt too.

I've been very impressed with the Meopta spotters I've used though...

The notice must include the following information:

A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the works that have been allegedly infringed;
Identification of the copyrighted work alleged to have been infringed (or if multiple copyrighted works located on the Site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works);
Identification of the specific material alleged to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to allow TRACT to locate the material on the Site;
Your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address (if available);
A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

If you believe in good faith that a notice of copyright infringement has been wrongly filed against you, the DMCA permits you to send TRACT a counter-notice.

Notices and counter-notices must meet the then-current statutory requirements imposed by the DMCA; see http://www.loc.gov/copyright/ for details. Consult your legal advisor and see 17 U.S.C. § 512 before filing a notice or counter-notice as there are penalties for false claims under the DMCA.

'js1,

I don't recall anyone ever "accusing" you of NOT impressing very easily. Congratulations?!?

It'd be ruder than fhuqk of me,to condone outright blatant fhuqking LIES and Goat Fhuqked wares...though you'd never gain the "experience" to savvy same and remain oblivious,despite them dots having been well connected. Hint.

Sister and I made empties all day and she ran (3) rifles dry(6BR,7-08AI and 308),a brace of which sport the new MOA/MOA Fixed Fhuqkers. For whatever reason(s),the 7-08AI and 308 both had 75.75MOA remaining on their erectors after their respective zero(250yds for 162's and 225yds for Skinners),which was an odd coincidence. The 7-08AI burns less than 102MOA from same to the 2000yd line,so that's a breeze. The reticle alone grants the 1275yd line,which is a fair to middlin' start.

Both rifles still cloverleafed,with the FULL erector travel run up to the top and then bottom,between shots at 100yd paper,prior to the zero stop installations. A 200MOA+ shift and repeat,is fairly warm and fuzzy.Google it. Hint. Laughing!

You couldn't critique an ice cube.

Bless your heart.

Laughing!...............

'shooter,

I particularily enjoyed the "genius" who "developed" such a COLOSSAL Goat Fhuqk...by trying NOT to.(grin)

FUNNY fhuqking schit!!!

Wow +P++!...............

trevor,

What temp rating did the fhuqking "genius" give the coupon?!?

I'm fhuqking crying....I'm laughing soooooooooooo fhuqking hard!!!!

I'll feign my "surprise",that the "daunting" 1" and 2" Box "Test" "particulars" are still missing. Really sounds like a "splendid" rifle. Laughing!

Looking forward to even more Lies.

You are doing "great"!

Bless your heart.

Laughing!.....................

'Raider,

Meopta sure as fhuqk ain't a riflescope bargaining chip and you are the ONLY Stupid Fhuqk who "knows" that little. Congratulations?!?

Is there NO end to your Incredible Fhuqking Stupidity?!?

Bless your heart.

Laughing!.............

'223,

Do NOT rile the "genius" with FACTS...you've been fhuqking warned.

Laughing!..............

Ringman,

Your haste to take STUPIDITY to places it's never been before,is never not EPIC Oblivious Hilarity. Congratulations?!?

It is side-splitting laughter,that you "think" you've a first fhuqking clue about glass and it's use.

Bless your heart.

Laughing!................

'Onery,

There is no "merit" to "test"...because the "genius" omitted all the things that would have granted it a fhuqking chance to be viable,by doing his "BEST",instead of simply sourcing someone with a gawwdamned fhuqking first clue. Hint.

After Little Dicks ramblings, I am convinced that he is correct, at least in his own addled mind. I am not quite sure what his point is, not sure he has a point, other than on his tiny head.

David:

Good point. I am not pushing these optics. I am just saying there is a lot of criticisms with little field data from anyone commenting here. Tract Optics is the new guy in the optics world, and they are catching lots of negative criticisms from folks who have not even used their product. If I was in need of another scope, I might buy and try their product.

I will wait and see what else they come out with. Their options at the moment don't fit my needs. Trevor look at the SS 3x15 x 42. Lower turrets better glass a little lighter with zero stop and 30 mm tube .Hook line and sinker
Oh yes a mil dot reticle and turrets should match.

The binos could hold some interest, but the scope offerings are behind the times. They remind me of the efforts of 15 or 20 years ago, ala Burris BP, Nikon BDC, etc, with minimal erector travel of questionable reliability, reticles that take a bunch of screwing around to make work second-nature, and SFP designs that can leave a guy cursing if he tries to use said reticle in the heat of the moment on a respectable critter and realizes he's on the wrong mag setting...

But a Razor-esque bino at sub-$700 wouldn't suck.

Thanks Jordan,

The bino category was the first priority. Most used optic on a hunt and everyone uses them, whether hunter or birder. The first series of scopes really came out to be a great quality optic for a hunter for very good price. Lots of irons in the fire with larger tubes, larger magnification ranges, and more turret designs.

I've been shooting the scopes for just over 2 months now, but have had about 4 months behind the Toric binos (just signed on with Tract in the end of May). The QA and QC that these guys put into the manufacturing and selection process is pretty intense, and it shows.

Coupon code going up today as well. Feel free to shoot over a message as well.

I will tell you right now:

Anyone who thinks the German/Euro makers haven't pulled their hoodies over their heads and ducked into the Japanese glass plant for a shopping spree is misinformed at best.....

The good schitt still comes from Schott in Germany though.

Once again you're clueless. Ever seen a Nikon EDG binocular?

Scope sucks - yes. But their spotters are amazing and their bino's are damn impressive too. I'll go so far to say that their S2 spotter is one of the best at any price.

Agree with you on the binocuar thing. You seem to have a voice of reason, unlike some others here, so I'll ask you a question (asked dc223 earlier but got no response):

I'm not in the market for a riflescope, but let's assume I am. Take the Toric 3-15x42 w/plex reticle. What precisely would hinder me from taking big game out to 330 yds, like I've done on probably 95% of the big game animals I've shot at?

Yep, and the Kowa spotting scopes, both don't suck.

They are a bitch to find in a store in my area though.

Why would anyone with spend 2500 on a set of Nikons when you can get Swaros, Zeiss, or Ultravids for that will actually have resale value?

BTW, good job dipsh!t on finding some outlier, I would highly suggest you keep listing other random stuff so can let people know your the smartest phuquer on the interweb, maybe someday you'll rival big stick for the smartest phuquer on the interwebs award.

Do you work in the industry, or are you just some peckerwood in the internet that knows it all?
