Just returned after spending a week in the bush in northern SK. Listened to CBC radio most every day.
Amazing how everyone on CBC has their panties in a huge bunch over the brexit vote. Condescension dripped off these commentators about how stupid, illogical, bad, etc this move was. Tried to explain the peoples' vote away. Minimize the reasons behind the vote. Intimate that many who voted for it really regret it now and want a redo.
And the patronizing behavior of hosts when a guest came on and agreed with them was unbelievable. As you can see many of us here feel the same way about cbc as you do.. I use to work out of a logging camp 2 hours from a rural B.C. town and all we got on our machines was cbc.. Haven't listened to the bastards since I bought a sat radio.. I will be taking a sat radio in with me next time for certain.

When I drove through Canada, eh? in March, I was struck by the strong similarity in voice and tone between CBC show hosts and NPR hosts.
it was about all the radio available and it filled the background after i ran out of tunes.
This was pre-Brexit though.
If you take the time it takes, it takes less time.

They had no choice for Brexit, either that or get flooded out by muslims and Africans.

I listen to non commercial radio by choice,the advertising is far to offensive to me otherwise. CBC has its obvious agenda,self fulfilling and unapologetic ...I listen anyways.I feel it is best not to be swept up by any other random opinion out there anyways. Thank God we can make choices for ourselves...the God part matters imo.Cheers

The ran the Cross Country Checkup call in show last night. Subject was "What is the future for the police and race relations?"
They made a big effort to portray the police as the only group who were racist and dangerous. I turned it off.
They should have all black cops in the black communities. Wonder how the protesters and liberal media would spin a shooting then.
