Can anyone tell me the outside tire to tire measurement on the Pioneer? I am trying to figure whether my 5x10 trailer will fit it. If not, has anyone modified theirs to roll the machine atop the rails? Don't really want to buy a new trailer if I don't have to. I have yet to even go look at the new machine I'm picking up Friday, that is why I have no measurements. The spec's say 63". But, I don't know where that was measured from.

63" would be the width at it's widest point. If you don't have sides, you could get it on but there's no room for error. You'd also want to tie it down very well so it couldn't vibrate sideways even an inch. Backing it off might be more entertaining than loading it.

When we recently bought an SxS, I looked at every possibility for getting on in my pickup. I have a Dodge long bed so I can take it when we pull our camp trailer. The bed tapers from front to back. The inside at the front is 63" but the rear is only 58".
We ended up with a used Polaris 800 that's 50" wide. I can drive it right in.
