I like mine, M1A standard with a Hogue stock and soft recoil pad. It is a sweet shooter. My front sight loosened but aside from that,500 rounds through it and not a hickup.

I had a Standard M1A and sold it after a few years.

Really fun range rifle, but kind of big/heavy to carry much, and not very optics-friendly.

But no regrets. It was an itch I had to scratch.

Not a great pic, but here's a pic of mine, with a Leupold 1.5-5x20 scope, on an ARMS-18 base

I've got a Squad Scout with the "dark earth" stock. I really like it.
First off, with the synthetic stock, they are much lighter than the specs indicate. With Leupold's QRW rings and their VX2, 1.5-4X Scout scope, it weighs 8 3/4's lbs.
Their triggers are good right out of the box, heavy, but a clean break, and very consistant. With a trigger job, they leave nothing to be desired.
I've shot some groups that ran 1 MOA for four rounds. But only one that does it consistantly. I've got three other loads that run 1.5 MOA for four rds. consistantly.
I've done almost all of my load work ups with Ramshot TAC. H4895 works as well.
The 130 gr. Hdy SP and the 130 gr. TTSX both shoot 1.4 MOA with 46.5 grs. of TAC. The 125 gr. SRA PH holds at MOA with 46.3 grs. of TAC.
The 150 gr. TTSX or the 150 gr. SRA GK both shoot 1.5 MOA or better with 44 grs. of TAC. All of these were loaded on Privi Part. brass and CCI #34 primers.
The lone failure to feed was the result of an older Federal case that wasn't properly full lenth sized.
I ran it over 500 rds. w/o cleaning and almost no extra lubrication. No loss of accuracy or failures to feed or fire. This was not, however under dusty field conditions.
I was concerned over the practical applications of the variable VX2 Scout Scope. I've had a Burris 2.7X Scout on a custom scout rifle some years back and didn't like it. This one is much different. I can pick up fine details with it on 4X better than I can with my conventionally mounted VX-R 1.25-4X Leupold, but not quite as well as I can with my FXII 4X.
Great rifles. I'm tempted to get another, either a Loaded model or the Socom 16. E

I'll also add that mine was 100% functionally reliable. Never missed a beat with various milsurp ball, and handloaded 155 Scenar, and 168 Nosler CC, fueled by RL-15, and Varget.
