Hello, anyone have a Big Foot Gun Belt or know about them?

They have a steel lined 14oz and 18oz leather as well as none steel lined leather and I was wondering how they held up....steel might seem like over kill but these belts compare very reasonably, cost wise, with other quality belts that are not steel lined....Thanks for any advice.

They shouldn't really need to be lined with anything IMO.

I have a Beltman. It's a quarter of an inch thick and one and a half inches wide. It's still as stiff as it was a year ago when I bought it. No steel.

Check out Aker Leather, same principle but with polymer instead of steel and significantly less money. They've been in business over 30 years.

Having said that, I too doubt the stiffener is really necessary.

I have a couple of Milt Sparks belts, very well-made. I hear nothing but good about Beltman.
