Looking to buy a stainless ruger m77. Id id love to get either a skeleton stocked gun or a hawkeye but may gofor standard mkii.
Looking at 30-06 300mag or 308 but feel free to offer others.

It will. Some companies sell ammo with 180 grain bullets at 2800 and 200 at 2700.

How about a m77 Mk11 stainless:
-338 win mag
-boat paddle gun, but in Hogue stock
-26" barrel with factory open sights
-Stainless Ruger rings
-It'll reach 300 yards easy enough, and will "touch" something when it gets there
