All failed at some point or another in functioning test except for the NH 6.5 Swede Featherweight, the Xbolt .270 and the 336 made by Remington. Would like to find an old Sako but they are rare in my neighborhood.

With a non-locking bolt safety, the bolt can be easily snagged whilst hunting and have the round drop out. The bolt used to lock on 700s but as a CHEAPER version, they eliminated that. A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”
