Up for sale is a 270 pre 64 Winchester model 70 rifle. I've owned it since about '99 or 2000. It is a hunter grade rifle. Excellent bore. Great trigger. accurate rifle. See attached target pic. I refinished in true oil and recut the checkering. It is pillar bedded and has a free floated barrel. 13 7/8" length of pull with decelerater pad. missing rear sight. I will leave the Redfield Rings and bases on the rifle. They were new when installed. Scope and sling not included. Price: 900$ shipped from an individual. If you saw what I had to work with before you wouldn't say that.
If you want to buy it I have a decent original finish stock that's had a recoil pad added. I can swap.

Morning!
The attached target pic was to check the zero after setting in my safe for over 7 years. The rifle bore had been cleaned and oiled.
I ran a bore snake through it, shot the fouler shot that went high like they usually do, then settled in for the 3 shot group you see with the load using core-lokt's.
If someone would rather have a decent original finish stock that been modified with a pad I'll swap it.

That would make a really nice hunting rifle. At that price, a very good deal.
