Gonna start working on a load for a friends browning BAR rifle soon and was wondering if someone had a pet load to share.
I think we want to start with a nbt or a accubomb in 130 or 140
Any info would be appreciated

I use nothing but MagPro with the Nosler 140 gr Accubond in my 270 WSM

I'm running RL-17 in Winchester brass, fed 215 mag primer, under 130gr accubonds. I'm getting 3375fps, and routinely shooting 5/8 groups at 100 with a Winchester model 70 EW

Oh, and believe it or not, deer bite. Fairly hard.

My model 70 Lim. Ed. loves R17 pushing a 130 Hornady SP at 3220 fps. Puts 5 in just over 1/2".

This sounds pretty impressive

I have used RL25 and 140 Accubonds and had decent accuracy with velocity running right at 3,200 fps at the muzzle. I have only used it on antelope but the performance was outstanding.
I have been playing with 90 grain Sierra lately as a coyote and informal target/practice bullet. Lots of fun.

Gamekings and Accubonds, both in 140 grain, shoot very well over some IMR-4350, in my Winchester Featherweight. Absolutely no further load development is necessary as far as I'm concerned.

130 TSX with a heavy shot of MagPro put hoofs in the air on several deer I shot. The rest simply went straight down.

Magpro is the way to go. I have a few loads for the 270WSM but the 140 TTSX with 65grns of MagPro is my favorite cause the Barnes is my go to bullet. Work your way up carefully.

I load IMR 4350 and 140 accubonds. They shot so well I haven't tried anything else. That's in 2 Savages and a CDL. That's the max load from Nosler book#6.
