Sounds like a fine little deer popper!

Wonder if they'll do it in 6.8 SPC. It seems a much more popular round in my parts.

Nearly a dozen folks I know have SPCs, none has a Grendel.

Just looking for a reason to hang onto a case of 6.8 I have in the old locker. Oughta just find a T/C barrel and thread it.

Thought I'd asked this earlier, but can't find it in my posts. Any ETA on the 7.62x39 version for those of us who think the Howa is a much better rifle for the money than a 527? With the limited case volume and big bore, a 16.5" barrel would probably work pretty nice in the woods.

Picked up my 6.5 yesterday. Very impressed with the rifle.

Deer and a fun kid gun for my two little ones. I've knocked more than a few deer over with a 6.8 AR and can't really see how this cartridge would be much different.

Bout time we get a fine Mini short bolt action rifle chambered in the fine production 6.5 Grendel, on the market. Congradulations to HOWA for being the first to offer this chambering in a bolt action. This is a outstanding minimal recoil longer range round. Deer hunters should love this rifle.

I put together a CZ527 in Grendel last year or I would be all over this. Makes a fine deer rifle for all ages.
