It's thursday today and it's too early for me to commit to weekend plans.

Something clever here.

I only ask because mama and I aint had a honeymoon yet, I figured maybe I could count this as it.... laugh

and I do have a nice portable house that fits 2 people, auger, rods, tackle etc.

Bring the old lady. I'm bringing the kids. One of them anyway. I'm not allowed out of the house with any sort of hunting of fishing equipment without my mini-me on my hip...wouldn't have it any other way either.

Dude... It's 6 months away. We'll be ok. grin It's 90 degrees out, my head hurts too much to think about ice fishing yet. We haven't even started small game. I have the rut to be in yet! grin

That's fine, but keep in mind that the longer we wait, the less chance we have of getting the dates we want. How bout we revisit this in October?

I have a 10 hole sleeper house with 4 twin bunks, a 3-man day house, flip-over portable, 5 augers, 500-600 rods, a couple track vehicles (look to the left) to carry people, and a lot of other winter goodies.

It's WAY too early for me to make plans but I'd be willing to lend a hand when the time comes. I stay on the ice, probably get drunk and require a good time. Weather permitting, I plan to be up there a lot.

Most of my stuff will be out of Rocky Point unless stuff changes.

Here is another option if anyone is looking for an adventure.

I've been with WB and ND on the ice (at the same time), it is a no joke awesome time.

Any random day can be -20*F or colder and very strong winds. The houses are always warm and safe but vehicles can get stranded. <- That's my favorite part of the adventure!

Just a reminder about Berettaman's Youth Outdoors Day event that's coming up at the end of the month. Anyone interested in volunteering to help 2000 kids learn about everything outdoors related in one day, contact Berettaman or me for more info. More volunteers are needed. Here's your chance to pay it forward a bit for all those who helped you get going in your outdoor endeavors.

Hope to see you there.

Time and place-the usual suspects will attend. Are fuzzy wind chimes and ugly 'Hawks sweatshirts required again for attendance? Got time/interest in some shooting while your up here, Clark?

I don't know how much time I'll have to shoot. That Friday is about my only free day but I do love shooting.

Too hot for the 'Hawks sweater.

Wear the Hawks sweater and there might be some shooting.

From the north end of town we're about an hour from Pine City and there's an open public shooting area in the Chengwatana State Forest up there. We could easily accommodate a group up there. That would pretty much be an all day event though. Might be better off just going for a beer or two or ten.
