Boys, not shooting somebody's reloads is a no brainer. 24/7.
Perfect example is me. Started reloading in '70. Never a flaw. Last week I clicked three .25-20 Win. rounds that had no powder charge.
They were very quiet.
I am..........disturbed.
Concerning the difference between man and the jackass: some observers hold that there isn't any. But this wrongs the jackass. -Twain

They were very quiet. Done that.. well, once that I'll admit to. It never made it to the range though, felt the weight difference as I pulled it out after seating the bullet. None of the primers pushed the bullet into the rifling? I was wondering if there were old manuals that might go up to 43gr or 44gr. I just noticed that he has 2800fps noted on the cards also, and 2800fps with a 150gr out of a 300 just is too agressive for a 99, imo.

I've got manuals that show 42grs, some that show 40 and some that show 41.5.
To stand on a box and say that because the number is 43, you are of course a smarter man and those reloads are bad.
If he had written down 38 grains and it was 38 grains, would you happily yell 'THESE LOADS ARE SAFE?'

Once I verified by pulling a couple bullets and checking the powder and bullet weights and trying to make sure the loader had never been in the Coast Guard, I might hazard shooting one or two from a distance with a string.

I talked to an auctioneer a few years ago and he said ammo sells like crazy. It didn't matter if it was factory or hand loaded.

I don't shoot some one else's reloads - it kept me alive with all fingers and toes and with no new holes in my body- I like that! Mel

First day I got my Dillon rl450 I sat down and cranked out 600 rounds of .38 Special. When I finished I thought there might be some with no powder. Out of 600, there were 6 without powder.
