Are these fish getting bigger or are you getting smaller?

We have the clear strain here in ky. Differnt areas have differbt strains. The WI fish have the green look that you mention. Lake St Clair has the spotted Muskies.
That fish was on a custom bucktail my buddy makes. Pond fork blades on Facebook. We use a lot of blacks, chartreuse, and oranges. Fish a lot of crankbaits and jerkbaits. Big rubber like bulldawgs and medusas and topwaters like prop style and buzzbaits.

I did not know that, though many of those waters are smaller lakes. But Calamus and Merritt and a couple others could be worthwhile to try. Caught a few northerns in Nebraska, but a muskie would be cool. Thanks!
