OP lawnman Campfire Regular L Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 725 Florida	Looking for a little advice and direction on spin fishing for trout in the mountains in October. Planning on tent camping. Looking at areas above Helen Georgia and around Bryson City NC. Thx A man's got to know his limitations!

Fished the Cherokee Tribal waters which are about 15 min away. There are quite a few camping spots in the area . As far as the fishing Cherokee has some of the best fishing in that area. $10 per day permit with a 10 fish limit. They also put some really nice fish in . Lots of info online about the fishing in the area.
