Noveske.

Premier, high end brand. If you want to spend the money, you won't go wrong.

Thanks for the correct spelling.

Looking for quality cause I sure never learned to build one.

This one is in the gun library at Cabela's, new. Didn't even know they carried that brand.
I'll go ahead and keep the other Ar I have if I get the Noveske.
Wanted one for years

Cabelas buys anything the can make a buck on.
The library works on a 35% profit. So whatever the price is they paid 35% less for it.
Don't be afraid to negotiate.

you don't build an AR, you just put the pieces together. I did one years ago at age of 17 IIRC, with a book I'd never read before....

But it does take time the first time and a few tools help, specialty tools.

You'll not go wrong with a noveske.

OTOH depending on what you pay for it, you might be able to pay the same and have a custom upper done, thats even more accurate. Or you might even have a custom or semi custom done as accurate for less money just depending.

Thing is, by the time you figure it all out, sometimes time is money for sure....

Thanks for the answers guys.

I was talking to a friend on the phone most of my shopping trip to Cabelas yesterday and just forgot to go back into the room and visit about this brand. Have liked them for a long time but could not hold one.
Will go out today again to hold one and maybe go the one step further.
We'll see.

Twist seems to be 1/7, don't know anything about the trigger and all the rest of the stuff. I'm a lefty so all must work up to a point for me. Want no brass in the face, etc.
I think this Noveske would shoot more accurate than my current AR.
Which is a piston operated heavy 5.56. Yes it's that brand Rost.
Don't have to ever clean it, but want lighter and more accurate AR.
This model may fit the bill.

Don't worry about the brass hitting you in the face. All ARs since the A2s have a case deflector.

LOL Ruger isn't a bad gun, I just still hate him for his politics... Rarely clean my DI guns... LOL. Maybe every 500 or so rounds at the least as an interval... some that I don't shoot much, that are more hunting guns, I"ve never cleaned. LOL.

But the Noveske should shoot well. 7 twist might be a bit much if you want to run 40s, but its great for 68 and over for sure.

Who knows what triggger is in the lower, but a RRA varmint on sale for 62 bucks now and then will cheaply solve the issue if it is there.

Let us know how it works out and how it shoots.

There are SO many awesome AR parts out there. IMO the high end AR makers are unable to show the value in spending 2 grand for an AR 15. The parts of value are, stock, barrel, trigger and handguard. you can spend more or less money on that. basically you can put together the best the best AR for about $1400, that is the best barrel, best trigger etc. that would actually build a better gun than a noveske. charging that much money is just insane. Its not 2005 anymore.

Thats not all thats out there that costs, these days.

But accuracy wise I won't argue, in fact the trigger has ZERO to do with accuracy of the weapon.

A great barrel and bolt set up correctly, will be about all it takes to get to accuracy.

In fact the stock and handguard make little to any difference to accuracy also.

I use the AR. Shame but not into the building end of things.
Not into writing software, into using it.
Not into assembling a car, into driving one.
Not into building a house

Am into using BPCR and spent many hours on learning to reload that round.
Somethings I'll assemble, somethings I will not cause I have no interest in learning that. Shame but that's the way things are with this retired guy.

I do think this rifle is 100% legal or Noveske and Cabela's both are in big trouble with the ATF.
Soon as the rain stops, ground drys out a little I'll take couple hundred rounds 55 gr. to 74 and see what this little rifle will do.
I'm happy, that counts.
