Just got done putting an inch and a half leveling kit on the front, fresh front end alignment, and one size bigger shoes, Cooper ST Maxx in LT265/60/R20 E rated 10 plies. Bad boys have 18.5/32nds of tread. Still has about an inch of rake.

Took the front plastic air dam off too, as I cracked it the first time off the blacktop....

Not bad at all. Slight hum going down the road with the windows up. Barely noticeable, unless you're listening for it. Most reviews gave them a thumbs up in that regard.

Rides stiffer, of course, but was a known beforehand going from the P rated stock street tires. I always upgrade to LT's.

Nice!
They should sit like that from the factory instead of the "chin dragger" look.

Nice. You don't see short cab short beds often these days. For me, the newer tucks look like merda without a leveling kit.

Piece of cake......

I had talked to a couple of 4x4 shops that wanted $5-550 to do it, but those were a 2 1/2" kit, which uses a spacer on the top & bottom. I went with the 1 1/2" with only 1 spacer that goes on the bottom:

http://www.motofablifts.com/product-p/ch-15lm.htm

I bought it on fleabay for $29 shipped.

Jack it up, take off the tire/wheel, remove the nut from the sway bar, and then remove the 2 lower shock bolts. I didn't take off the 2 a-arm bolts like they recommend, which would make it easier to align the holes. A third arm would help too.

Push down on the caliper and slide the spacer in. The problem is the shock wants to stick outward, so as you slide the shock back into place, the spacer follows it inward, so a 3rd hand (person) could drop the bolt in as you held the spacer and shock in place. I ended up using a c-clamp to hold them somewhat in place while I fished around with a punch to line things up for the bolt.

The other side goes 3 times faster.....

sounds good. Im thinking id like the 2.5" on mine. My buddy owns a Big cooper dealership here, they do suspension work, i might just copy you, but with the bigger leveling kit

I'd question going much over 1 1/2" lift, which gives about a 1" rake.

2 1/2" will put the front higher than the rear, when empty, and worse yet when pulling or packing any weight.
