first time I ever took a picture of a rifle on a post It makes for a good prop.
Throttle fixes everything. If it doesn't fix the problem, it’ll end the suspense.

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I started out with one of these BLR'S in 308 Win and have come full circle. I found this one a few months ago while sitting on my sofa, browsing Gun Broker and before I knew it, the rifle was on the way to my dealer. It has been probably 35 years since I sold my first one. This one is a keeper.

This is my thick woods rifle. It is a Marlin 44 magnum with a custom 20 inch octagon barrel and a half magazine. The twist is 1 in 16 which I was a little concerned about but it shoots everything I've tried very well. I keep switching between a low powered scope and a receiver sight. I can't make my mind up between handy and being able to see.

I'll play (again). Model 70 I turned into a 6.5 Swede with a 24" 1-8" barrel from Pac-nor and a stock I picked up here on the 'fire. And does this with some factory stuff: and yes, I did push one of the 5. The 4 at 12 o'clock measure .471.

I just got this 1903 Springfield sporterized by Bubba. It is in good shape and Bubba didn't do half bad on this one. I've been looking for several years for a high number 1903 that someone else has ruined any collector value on, but hadn't ruined the rifle completely, so that I could make a sporter similar to one I had in the late 60's. I plan on keeping this one an iron sight rifle and using it to hunt stands where most all shots will be less than 100 yards. It's long, heavy and probably won't come close to shooting minute of angle, but it's made of steel, walnut and the action is slick as a ribbon. I like it.
