Reminds me of my first fly fishing endeavor...used to catch chubs that way for cat fishing when I was a kid..

Looks very similar to East Tennessee "bluelining". A 12" brookie is a monster, but they are so much fun to catch from the small remote streams.

Nice picture. Agreed with TOM Tenkara would be well suited for those small eastern streams.
