This may be a dumb question, but here goes, if you have a limited Archery tag for Colorado can you also hunt a neighboring OTC unit with that tag?

Not a dumb question, but one I've never come across. Dial 303-297-1192, that's their main number and they're good about answering questions.

Limited tags are only good for those units. I figured something like this would happen, a reissue tag for a unit I wanted to hunt would pop up and for some reason the guy i'm hunting with had to buy his OTC tag already instead of waiting until we got out there.

Many limited tags are valid in several units but regs will state clearly which ones. The tag itself will not list the other units.

The hunt code is printed on the license. Look up the hunt code in the Big Game Hunting brochure. It will indicate where (which units) the license is valid.

I have a limited deer license. Only one hunt code is indicated on the license. The Big Game brochure indicates that the license with that hunt code, is actually valid in several units.
