$800 would make me happy.
Anything south of that would make me more happier.
Anything north of $900 would mean I really, really want a 6" 629.

A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”

A new-to-me Magnaported 7.5" Redhawk, to compliment the 4" : It has been worked over by SSK Industries and had come with a scope and base. Sold the scope, kept the TSOB base and rings. It has a surprisingly good double action.

There are a lot more 6" 629 no dash around compared to the 4" and 8 3/8". 6" made from 1978-1981; 4 & 8" only made in 1981.

I'm really surprised you could kill that deer without at least a 300 grain bullet...

Not only that, but it was a Keith bullet to boot.
Let's just say it was very predictable and I like being able to hear afterwards...

Here's my Model 83 44 mag I picked up used awhile back. All I can say is that it's very accurate way out there, and the grip frame fits me much better then the Model 97 grip frame. The 44 Mag is a relative pussy cat in this gun and for me, easier to shoot than my N frames with the same loads. If I was going to change anything, I would flute the cylinder and put micarta grips on it.

I'd not flute it, but some buffalo horn grips on those FAs always look good.

I heard Santa is bringing me an Ultradot to try out on this gun and one of the Model 29s.

...I just hope to put some more holes in it next year before it falls down...
I wonder if the ROKON can make it up there....

I have NO DOUBT at all that the ROKON would chug right up there with little fuss!
Or we could take my Nissan!
