Did a search but only found one reference to a NULA .22 lr, which was a custom build.

Does anybody have a complete .22 lr rifle from Melvin Forbes? How do you like it?

Have one and it shoots great. Matches up extremely well with his CF rifles.

Mmmm. Nice. What range?

The photo on the website makes it look very light and handy in the sporter style, which is what I'm thinking of using it for.

I'm going through a periodic yearn over Anschutz, and fretting at the coin for a 54, even a used one.

The NULA centerfires I've fondled have impressed. At under two grand for the rimfire, it looks like a good deal.

It would be a nice rifle but I think I would prefer an Anschutz or Cooper.

I agree, and you can easily find a very nice 54 for well under 2 grand. Save for the sporter versions tho, lightweight and handy is not one of their attributes

Have had both, still have the Cooper.

It's not going anywhere.

No experience with the NULA.

I'm late to the party, but I have a NULA .22 that I love. Great little rifle. It would be my last .22 to go.

Nice shooting, battue. Your experience with the Eley's in your gun mirrors bsa's.

Might have to try some of those if I stumble onto some at a good price.

Cheers.

It's not me, that rifle is just easy to shoot well. With little wind, pieces of clay target are easy to break at 100. Even if you miss it's not by much. Although, it does prefer the good stuff to do its best.

I bought my NULA 22lr over 15yrs ago--$850 new from Melvin.
My rifle is LH in the Kevlar stock painted my Melvin.
I really likes Win PP ammo. Sub 1/2" @ 50yds.
The mag is my only complaint, loose in the rifle.
You have to really watch that it doesn't fall out while hunting.

I bought mine in 1997, I've owned most of the high end rimfires but the ULA is the only one I still own. Shoots most any ammo well under .5" at 50, cold barrel first shot is always to POA. Same as my Model 24 .270.

Mine is a single shot, the magazines were a well known issue.

Now, that's nice...

I haven't seen many .22's I'd trade my Cooper for...

I don't think it'll outshoot the Cooper, but may win the "cool" factor.

This Kahles rimfire scope is super; if you can find one, buy it.

For the money, I'll stick with Anschutz and Kimber.
