I have a Swaro 1.25-4X scope mounted on a Ruger 77 Hawkeye in .375 Ruger. When I slide the scope back for a full view the scope bumps my eyeglasses with recoil. I've slid the scope forward sacrificing some view for some running room. Can the eye relief be adjusted at all? Thanks; Mike
Leave the gun, take the canolis.

The answer is no, you move the scope to your preference.

Sounds like you need a longer LOP on that stock.
I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all. Jack O'Connor

You change eye relief by changing scopes. I tried a 3.5-10x40 VX-III on my 375 Ruger African, it would touch my brow so I went to a 3-9x40 Conquest on it and a 4x Conquest on the Alaskan. Works for me, YMMV.

Have you just been shooting it from a bench?
Even with the 375's, shooting from a bench you can get scope kiss pretty easy. If your plan is to take off hand or sticks shots, practice a little more like that after your sight in. You'll naturally rock back and off with the gun so there is less of a chance that scope will come right and knock you.
