Just got back from a sheep hunt , ( one of us usually bring a bear rifle) and we had a bear incident and have decided to go peep sight for my model 7o stainless Classic in 375. I was not happy with a scope .Was wondering if anyone could make a recommendation for a peep that will work with a factory front sight? Guess I can change it all if need be but just being cheap I guess!
Thanks in advance for any experienced advise

Not sure what your laws are on problem bears, but I'm guessin' they need to be close enough that the open sights should be just fine. If not, use a quality red dot. I've got a 1-4 scope on mine and it's faster than a peep.

Defense of life and property trumps all here in regard to problem bears. This bear went through the bear fence and totaled our base camp. Going back to a peep because they do not fog , no battery to fail , and I think they are more "heads up". Bears can be on you faster than most can imagine, I went with a Lyman , the folks at midway were helpful even though they still bend us over on shipping😢
