Depends. Shooting is hard enough when you can see. Do you have a seeing eye dog? Or at least a shooting partner? Anyway, Congrats to you on overcoming your obstacles. Good luck. Slave

I Like cci mini mag HPs for hunting. My rifle shoots them well and they seem consistent from year to year. This^^^^^^ Consistent and reliable. If you're not hunting, the solid nose will do as well. They're not the best in either if my rifles, but they do well in both, certainly well enough for practice, plinking, and small game. There's often a limit with online sellers, but by combining them with other stuff you can lay in a brick here and there and water down the shipping cost. A lot of the target ammo features greased bullets which can leave goo behind that attracts fouling and other dirt. The wax on mini-mags runs a little cleaner and allows you to carry them in your shirt pocket without fuzzing up too much. That applies to other waxed loads as well of course.
What fresh Hell is this?

CCI Standard Velocity shoots at least acceptably well in every 22 I own and it shoots exceptionally well in several of them. It is my "go to" ammo

I'm like several boys above. My go-to ammo for all my .22s is CCI SV LR. I use it in all 4 of my .22 rifles, as well as in my two .22 handguns. I use it exclusively to hunt squirrels, also.

TAC 22 at bullets.com around 55.00 a brick and the best price per brick out there by almost 10.00. just another good option out there. i agree with all the above suggestions and especially on the mini mags for hunting.

If I was only allowed one 22LR ammo for everything I would pick CCI SV. Shoots well in everything I have tried it in and is still affordable.

In a bolt gun Wolf MT. or Sk Standard plus. THIS I agree, but it's going to cost more than $6.00/box of 50. Add shipping costs on top of the price too, since the OP says he'll be buying online... Cabela's had the SK standard plus last weekend and I bought a brick, since I know my 10-22 loves it. Price there is $7.49/50 $5.45 here before shipping. http://www.goodshootinginc.com/ Awesome. That's where I'd be buying it. However, like we all know, it's best to buy more than a brick when shopping online. If just buying a single brick, the price is back up to what I paid for it at Cabela's. The nice thing about this ammo, is I'd trust it to be accurate in every 22lr I own. If your 22 didn't like this ammo, I'd be very suspect of the rifle, not the ammo. Thanks for the link. I'll definitely use it!!!!
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA
