I've bought two of the Nikon Prostaff rimfires now. 3-9X40.
Stuff just keeps dying.

Love them. BDC has resulted in plenty of 100-150 yd kills.
Very clear. Only thing I don't like is they are a bit big for a Rimfire.
Good eye relief too.

Put Leupolds on my 452 yesterday. Have sear and spring kit coming from DIP Inc. out of Idaho.

Mounts? My CZ is so accurate, I just look down the barrel and fire. No need for sights or a scope and all that jazz...

I've used BKL, Warne, Burris, all with good results.
The only set I've tried and didn't like with the Millets. I believe the size of their "claw" setup is either too big or too small for some CZs and didn't give a real clean solid mount. I might be wrong though.

My son picked up his Whittakers 452 on Sunday. Very nice, as nice as my old 453, I'd say. Even our FFL guy was drooling a bit. I love my little Ruger, but the 452 was about half the price.

Use my 452 for regular rabbit and squirrel control around my garden. I have a 3X9 redfield on mine. I have it dialed in for close shots with the bottom dot; and slightly longer shots dialed in on the upper crosshairs. I am shooting aquila super colibri out of mine.
I just took out two cottontails last evening. One little bastard had gotten inside my fall spinach bed. The bigger one hopped a short distance after the first one bit the dust, and then ended up himself vacuum sealed in the deep freeze…..Awesome rifles!

i can't get super colibri to shoot reliably out of my 452. it can and does get stuck in the barrel.
for super colibri i use a 16 inch barrel Zastava.

I have the CZ453 American, same as the 452 except for the better trigger group. Mine has a Bushnell Trophy 4-12x40 AO in Millets. It is scary accurate. I don't use the set trigger on it because the regular trigger is so crisp and clean.

It's been some time since I mounted mine but I believe I used J&P adapters and Burris Signature rings.
