I am looking to replace some well worn boots for this coming years pheasant hunt. 90% of the time it is not cold when we go so I am thinking insulated. Saw these on the Cabelas site, what do you think?

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

Sorry about that, they are the Herter's® Uninsulated Hunting Boots in the bargain cave for $51.99. What got my attention is the 1.2 lb weight!

I haven't tried these Merrell's as a hunting boot yet, but bought them for work on jobsites a couple of weeks ago - so far very comfortable wearing 8-12 hours at a time (light and cushioned).

Got the boots yesterday, they feel good and may get me by for a couple of years. They do not look the quality of my old upland boots that are worn out.
At some point I would love to have/try a pair of Russell's but at over $500 don't see that one for awhile.
