I purchased binoculars for my Dad this spring, Minox BL 15 x 56 (62045) for him to use from the deck rather than setting up the spotting scope every time. He loves them, but won't use them (Mom loves them, but didn't buy them for her) because he says they don't 'open wide enough'. Anyone else have this issue? Are there other binoculars that will provide a greater width between the oculars that I can have him look at?

Just a strange situation, one I have not run into previously.
