So, I was wondering if anyone uses this scope? I got an itch to get a new CZ452 in 22lr, and was thinking this scope would hit the spot. Natchez has the scope on sale right now for $209, which seems like a fair price, especially compared to the Leupold EFR. Any reviews and opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Scratch the 452 itch, for sure.

I like them, have 2, but opted for the less expensive Sightron S1H 4-12x40AO on other rifles.

Awhile back, Natchez and Optics Planet was selling the Sightrons with the pink accents at a discount and Sightron would send you the standard black cap free if you called their customer service line. I have these Sightron scopes of several different rifles, from 17HM2 to 6.5 Creedmoor, and think that they are a good scope for around $150.

I have 3 of them. One on a CZ452 and two on Kimber 22 Hunters.

I have one of these on my Kimber Hunter 22 squirrelly rifle. I really like it. Versus a Leupold VX1 2-7x33, contrast and flare resistance was better with the Weaver, and the adjustments worked well too. The Leupold had mushy feeling clicks and would require half a dozen shots to walk to a new impact point when moving the POI. The Leupold did have longer and easier eye relief, the Weaver is approximately 3", a little shorter than the specs. The RV9 Weaver I judged to be at least equivalent to its Leupold counterpart, the 3-9x 33 AO EFR, for $150 less. I would guess that if there's anything defective that the Leupold warranty would be better to deal with, but the Weaver is built in Japan by Light Optical Works and their products hqve an excellent reputation.

Got one on my 452. Very nice scope! Midway had them for less than $200 not long ago.

I ordered one a couple of years ago and agree that it's a good scope but returned it as I needed more eye relief.

The EFR has more eye relief than the RV9 but I'll take the VX1 2-7x33 for a rimfire hunting scope over the Weaver RV9 or the Leupold EFR. It's small enough for most rimfires, about the same price as the RV9 and half the price of the EFR. For my eyes it's got plenty good enough glass, better eye relief than the rimfire scopes and I can get on target with it faster. YMMV.
