Well, not really, but in the newish movie "Hell or High Water," which is full of modern hardware, near the end the "hero" (I guess) throws down on Jeff Bridges (maybe HE'S the hero!) with a Marlin 1881.
No gunplay ensues, so we don't get to see him "blow Jeff off the porch" as he suggests he might.
Amusing version of an old Western theme. Unfortunately, this stuff still happens....
