Have any of you tried this combination? How were the results? Would someone be kind enough to run a QL to say 63,000 PSI out of a 25" barrel? Thanks in advance.

Just talked to the folks at Alliant and was told that no data is available yet. They submit inquiries to their engineers 1x per month.

I would have no problem starting with the 160 grain load data from Alliant. I would cautiously work up until I hit 2900+/- fps. and stop there. My R22 load was only doing about 2,850 and H870 was just shy of 2,900 so I wouldn't expect too much more from R26. At least not until pressure tested data is available.

I loaded up 5 rounds with 65.0gr RL26, neck sized, 1x fired W-W brass, Rem 9 1/2 primers, 175gr Partition and 3.305" COAL.

15 C
2200' elevation

2904fps median over Ohler 35P.

Group was about 1".

Alliant is showing 70.5 grains for the 7 Weatherby. With a long throated 7RM you can load pretty close to the 7WM. Or reduce about 2-3 grains for a typical factory chamber.

But you already have some good results.
