I have a 257AI that was professionly bedded in a Brown Precision stock back in the 90's. It's been in my gun cabinet for the last 4 years...unhunted. I took it out this afternoon to look at it and the barrel is now touching the left side of the stock about the last 10inches of the channel. It has always been centered and I've never encountered this w/my other rifles. What gives? powdr

I'm going to guess the epoxy wasn't mixed correctly and didn't harden. Long term pressure in the rack caused the action to shift in the soft bedding.
